Tee is pipe fitting and pipe connecting piece. Also called pipe fittings tee or tee fittings, tee joints, used in the main pipe to branch pipe.

Tee is a pipe fitting used at the branch of a pipe. For the use of seamless pipe manufacturing tee, the process usually used at present has two kinds of hydraulic expansion and hot pressing. The hydraulic expansion of tee is a forming process in which the branch pipe is expanded by the axial compensation of the metal material. The process is to use a hydraulic press, the tube blank with the same diameter as the tee is injected with liquid, through the two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press synchronous movement to extrude the tube blank, the volume of the tube blank becomes smaller after extrusion, and the liquid in the tube blank increases with the volume of the tube blank. When the pressure required for the expansion of the tee branch pipe is reached, The metal material flows along the inner cavity of the die under the double action of the liquid pressure in the side cylinder and the tube blank and expands the branch pipe
The working condition of the tee is similar to that of the elbow. When the medium passes through the tee, it directly strikes the intersection of the branch of the tee and the straight road, where the bearing pressure and erosion corrosion are greater than other parts. The pressure relief shunt status of the branch for the main pipeline.
When the medium passes through the reducing tube, it usually flows from the big head to the small head. Due to the gradual reduction of the cross-sectional area, the cone part of the reducing tube is pressurized, and the inner surface of the cone bears greater pressure and is subjected to serious erosion and corrosion.
