Titanium or titanium alloy angle have many excellent characteristics. Titanium alloy processing materials are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
High strength. Titanium alloy possess a high strength, with its tensile strength ranging from 686-1176mpa. The density of titanium alloy is only about 60% of that of steel, thus giving it a high specific strength.
High hardness. The hardness HRC of titanium alloy (annealed) is 32-38.
Low elastic modulus. The elastic modulus of titanium alloy (annealed) is 1.078×10-1.176×10MPa, about half that of steel and stainless steel.
Excellent high and low temperature performance. When working in high temperature, titanium alloy can maintain good mechanical properties while its heat resistance is much higher than that of aluminum alloy. The operating temperature range of new heat-resistant titanium alloys is 550 - 600℃. At low temperatures, the strength of titanium alloy increases compared to that at room temperature and the alloy maintains good toughness at -253℃.
Strong corrosion resistance. Titanium subjects to atmospheric temperatures below 550°C, forming a thin and dense titanium oxide film. As such, it is highly resistant to atmospheric, seawater, nitric and sulfuric acid as well as strong alkali, which is more resilient than most stainless steel.

When exposed to temperatures below 550°C, titanium's surface rapidly develops a thin and dense layer of titanium oxide film, making it highly resistant in oxidizing media, such as the atmosphere, seawater, nitric and sulfuric acid, and strong alkalis. Its corrosion resistance is far superior to most stainless steels.
